An Osiris Ritual – The Laments of Isis & Nephthys A really beautiful Osiris Ritual for the worship of the god revolves around something called The Songs of Isis and Nephthys, with a shorter, yet similar, version called The Lamentations of Isis and Nephthys.   In ISIS: Inside the Army of Terror, American journalist Michael Weiss and Syrian analyst Hassan Hassan explain how these violent extremists evolved from a nearly defeated Iraqi insurgent group into a jihadi army of international volunteers who behead Western hostages in slickly produced videos and have conquered territory equal to the size of Great Britain/5().

Rebirth of the story of Isis and Osiris in modern times: the 12th book by Cott (Wandering Ghost, , etc.), a contributing editor for Rolling Stone and Parabola. Drawing on various sources, from Plutarch to Joseph Campbell to Norman Mailer's Ancient Evenings (``the most volatile and audacious version in modern times''), Cott retells the story of Isis and Osiris, twin sister and brother.

While there was some salvagable information, a lot of this book was honestly just plain filler.
